Magento Sage Pay Direct PRO Module released

With SagePay Direct PRO you can make use of DEFERRED and AUTHENTICATE transactions in additon to the already supported PAYMENT one.

Direct
Sage Pay Go with Direct integration is designed to enable you to take card details on your own secure servers and pass them across to Sage Pay for authorisation and secure storage
in a server-to-server session that does not involve redirecting the shopper to Sage Pay’s payment
pages.
Features & benefits
- Direct integration is essentially a white-label payment service. It is the method in which you pass the data to Sage Pay, not the method in which you collect it, which means you have complete control over the look and feel of your payment pages.
- Your customer never leaves your site and they do not necessarily know that Sage Pay is authorising the transaction on your behalf. Although, in practice many vendors choose to tell their shoppers as many have concerns over card security.
- It is ideal for large companies with existing back office payment software, such as a call centre and want to integrate their payment system and manage the whole of the payment process internally.
I am looking at this module for a client and was wondering whether or not we would be able to process phone orders in the admin area of Magento?
I am just trying to reduce keystrokes by saving the operator the time of entering the data in Magento to then have to re enter the same details in SagePay’s terminal window in admin.

Hamish, my mistake, the SagePay Direct PRO already supports Admin payments. SagePay Server still does not support it.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Just to be clear, processing orders through the admin area is not affected by 3D secure i.e. like the terminal facility, you can process phone orders without being prompted for a 3D secure password.

Hamish, indeed, Admin orders do not prompt for 3DS password.

Does this do partial refunds direct from within Magento,e.g refund for one item of three ordered, or partial refund of shipping cost

The module does support refunds directly within Magento indeed. You can do partial manual refunds, refund the order total or refund total minus shipping, it’s very flexible.

I’ve been using the Pro server version for 2 months now and have no complaints, however, now need to use multi currency in magento, the pro server version is not correct for the application i need as I only have GBP setup via SagePay.
Am I right to think that with the pro direct version,.. with Sagepay only setup to use GBP, I can use multi currencies in magento for category and product pages and when product is added to the shopping cart customer can still see prices in there selected currency… but the payment is taken in GBP ?
Hi Colin, if your Sage Pay account does not support other currencies other than GBP, the module would have to convert to GBP using the latest exchange rates. Will this module retrieve 3rd Man fraud scan results for the transaction from SagePay?
Hi James, 3rd man integration is not yet available through this extension, but we’re working on it, we aim to release a version that adds 3rd man results in 2 weeks, by mid August.

I have to say I’ve been very impressed with Magento’s Sagepay module. I have been using the Ebizmartz Sagepay payment module for Magento for over 12 months now. Would just like to say how excellent this module is, and how good the support for it is. The guys have just finished helping me resolve an issue with 3D Secure that was not even anything to do with their software, so how good is that?!
Ebizmarts have done a fantastic job in creating this module. It was installed by them within 30mins of purchase and they were even generous enough to make some custom tweaks to it.
