  4. Roberto Says:

It’s support multiple segmentation of the users?

I.e. Users in “newer buy” or “frequent buyer” + “specific product lovers”?

There is an on-line demo to evaluate?

    Thanks,
    Roberto

  5. ignacio Says:

Thanks for getting in touch. Interest groups are subdivisions of lists created in MailChimp, in example, if you had a list named Electronics then Audio, Video and Gadgets could be interest groups of that list.

  6. Toni Anicic Says:

    Hi Ignacio,

Congratulations for this great extensión, i’m a fan of mailchimp and magento so anything more to say ;-). I’ve just installed the pro version and I hace two question. Firts, the subscription synchronization is automatic but the unsubscription don’t ( I need to do a bulk synchronization. Is it possible to syschronise the unsubscription automatic too? Second question. Can i have to list with different behavior? ( one with customer subscription and other one with force register subscription funcionality).

    Thanks in advance

  21. MagicTheGathering Says:

I’ve been using your MailChimp extension on my Magic: The Gathering online store which uses Magento and it’s been a real life saver. Easily the most straight forward extension I’ve used yet and most importantly, it just works. Great great stuff.

  22. Hoa Says:

It’s Free now :) , where can I go and download it to use in EE? Thanks

  23. ignacio Says:

Hi Hoa, just get it from Magento Connect 2.0, if you are unable to do so, drop us an email and we’ll send you the file, but the better way is through MagentoConnect. Thanks.

  26. Yuri Says:

    Fantastic!

How about Magento GO? I know there is a MailChimp sign up form for it, but my wild guess is that it is just that, i.e. it does not have any of the powerful intelligence features that MailChimp Pro provides. Such as tracking specific product purchases, etc.

Will a full Magento GO integration be available, and what is the time frame for it?

    Thanks so much!

    -Y

  27. ignacio Says:

    Hi Yuri,

Unfortunately we do not have an ETA yet for a MailChimp Sync version for Magento GO. The current status of the GO API does not allow to create complex integrations like the MailChimp one. We’ve been in conversations with Magento, they told us that the platform will be open, but because of technical issues on their side, there’s no deadline for a better API yet.

    Regards,
    Ignacio.

  28. Alvin Says:

    Hi,

Is it possible to use a completely different account per web store?

IE: “Store A” uses “Mailchimp Account A”, and “Store B” uses “Mailchimp Account Store B”

    Thanks,
    Alvin

  29. Alvin Says:

PS: I’ve tried un-checking “USE WEBSITE” per store configuration on the API Key setting, which stay populated, but the General Subscription list does not get updated with the other accounts list.

Is there any way to accomplish this?

    Thanks,
    Alvin

  30. ignacio Says:

    Hi Alvin,

No, so far you cannot use different MailChimp accounts, we are working on it though.

    Thanks for your feedback.

  31. Sergio Says:

Excellent extension and work, works perfectly with my magento store, all correctly synchronized and the first mailchimp campaign sended. Thank you ebizmarts :)

  32. ignacio Says:

    Hi Sergio,

Thanks for the nice words, would you mind leaving a review here?

    Thanks.

  33. Deelip Says:

Is it possible to use same mailchimp from different website?
We have different websites for US and EU but we want to have the list from both sites in one place.

    Thanks

  34. ignacio Says:

Hi Deelip, yes, you can use the same MailChimp account in 2 different websites.

  35. Sebastian Says:

    Hi,

the download doesn’t work any more. Please help!

  36. Gerardo Gaggero Says:

    Hi Sebastian,

If you cannot install the module via MagentoConnect, then I’d like to suggest you to give a look to the following post: http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewthread/230229/#top

    Kindest regards,

  37. Jeremy Says:

For whatever reason, I CANNOT get magento and mailchimp to communicate. i.e. they will not synchronize subscribers unless I manually do a bulk sync. I have set up web hooks and have the proper api key, etc… Anybody else experiencing issues like this?

    Magento 1.6.1
    Latest ebiz version…as of 11-11-11

  38. Glenn Says:

Does this work with Magento CE 1.6 by any chance?

  39. Alison Says:

    Hello
Can you please let me know if this module is compatible with community 1.6.1. My developers have installed it and are sayiing it is not compatible. Is this right?

    Thanks

  40. ignacio Says:

Alison, yes, the extension is compatible with Magento v1.6.1. Thanks.

  41. Pablo S. Benitez Says:

    Glenn, yes it does.

  42. Pablo S. Benitez Says:

Jeremy, can you please create a topic or send us a private message on the Magento forums?

    Thanks!

  43. devin Says:

    Hello!

For some reason when someone subscribes as a Guest in Magento and not a customer, their status remains “Not Activated” in “Magento Newsletter Subscribers” and “Not Subscribed” in “Ebizmarts MailChimp Synchro Subscribers.”

An earlier response on another forum for this problem stated “it could be related to the double opt-in, this option enabled means that the subscriber needs to confirm its subscription through a first email sent by MailChimp…” — however — I have confirmed that these subscribers do, in fact, receive confirmation emails by MailChimp and confirm them.

They show up in the mailchimp list as subscribed with first and last names as “GUEST” but their status remains “Not Activated” and “Not Subscribed” in Magento. Is this a problem?

    Thank you.

  44. Lucian Says:

    Hello

Can you please tell me if it works with Magento 1.6.0.0?
And besides that, can I add the subscribers from Magento to different lists in mailchimp - let’s say I do have different types of customers and I want those to be added in different lists?
    thanks

  45. Pablo S. Benitez Says:

    devin, Lucian:

I recommend you to create a full website backup, disable this module from the enabler XML file located at app/etc/modules/Ebizmarts_MailChimp.xml and install latest MageMonkey ( http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/mage-monkey-mailchimp-integration-4865.html ) module since this one will replace the current MailChimp module.

    Regards.
