    Hi there,

We’re trying to implement your sagepay (Protx) extension on a Magento installation. Using the Magento Connect manager we’re getting the following error:

Failed to download magento-community/B4Before_ProtxDirect within preferred state “stable”, latest release is version 1.3.1.2, stability “beta”, use “channel://connect.magentocommerce.com/community/B4Before_ProtxDirect-1.3.1.2″ to install
Cannot initialize ‘channel://connect.magentocommerce.com/community/B4Before_ProtxDirect’, invalid or missing package file
    Install Errors
    Package “channel://connect.magentocommerce.com/community/B4Before_ProtxDirect” is not valid
    PEAR ERROR: install failed

Any ideas what the problem could be?

  2. ignacio Says:

Lewis, you have to try the “beta” channel. Please go here for further support http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewforum/10195/
    Thanks

  3. Neil Says:

Have installed the payment module, all goes well, yet I get an ‘undefined’ pop up window at the ‘place order’ button.
Do you have any advice on this subject?

    Many thanks, Neil.

  4. ignacio Says:

Neil, usually the kind of errors you are getting are related to Magento and Module versions incompatibilities. You’ll find useful information on MagentoConnect’s forums here http://www.magentocommerce.com/boards/viewforum/10195/

    Ignacio.

  5. Andy Says:

Hi I am getting an error when processing payment through the sagepay module. I get Error in payment. Sagepay says: 4006 : The TxType requested is not supported on this account.

I had a look at the sagepay site with no luck. Can you point me in the right direction.

  6. ignacio Says:

Andy, the error you are getting is not related to the module but to SagePay, you might find this link useful http://tinyurl.com/lawgv8
Also, you might have to consider emailing SagePay support.

  7. Greg Wallace Says:

Hi, regarding refunds to customers cards. Do you have to process an offline refund in Magento admin, then use the SagePay control panel to process the refund rather than it being refunded back just using the Magento admin?

    Thanks in advance.

  8. ignacio Says:

Greg, you are right, you have to manually use SagePay’s control panel to make the refund. The module does not have such feature yet. We are working on a commercial version that, among other things, will support refunds.
