Hi there, today we have been honored with an award that really surprised us, ebizmarts has been selected as Sage Pay’s Business of the month because of our good work as Sage Pay Partners.
Also, we’ve been recently notified that 622 Magento stores are using ebizmarts’ Magento Extensions to take Sage Pay payments in LIVE mode, that means a lot, it’s a huge responsibility and at the same time, an awesome opportunity to keep improving.
So, we’re not only extremely happy about this, but we are also more motivated than ever. We’re about to release a brand new Sage Pay extension for Magento, this new extension will integrate all the the feedback and knowledge we’ve been collecting after almost 3 years of providing Sage Pay integration for Magento.
We’re confident that this new extension that we call “Sage Pay Suite” will not only be much more stable and secure, but will also be more user friendly. This extension has been running in a few high traffic sites for at least 10 days and the results are positive. In about 2 weeks we’ll make a call for early adopters, we’ll offer 20 licenses at a very discounted price, so stay tuned.

As you may know, Magento has released a new version of the community edition, http://www.magentocommerce.com/blog/comments/magento-ce-version-1410-stable-now-available/
We are aware of the changes of this update and we are now working on testing and patching our modules, if necessary, in order to make them work with the latest Magento released version.
Our SagePay Direct Pro, SagePay Direct Community and SagePay Server Pro will be fully compatible with this latest Magento release shortly, stay tuned.

Sage Pay is going to upgrade their systems on Saturday 17 April 2010 at 22:00 , you can read the official announcement here
Our Magento extensiosn (either paid or free) are not affected by this system upgrade. However, if you are running our Sage Pay Server Pro extension you have to check with your hosting provider if there’s any firewall rule that would prevent Sage Pay from reaching your server.

MagentoConnect has new look and feel (and new “old” features), this is a great move to improve what is the official repository of Free and Paid Magento extensions (formerly Community and Commercial extensions).
The changes are not only cosmetic, the overall UI/UX experience has been improved, navigating through extensions is more easy and intuitive, and old features like Reviews and on-site Search are back online after months.
ebizmarts extensions can be found here and we can’t be more proud, at the moment of writing this blog post, our extensions where downloaded over 13K times.
But the surprise was even bigger when we realized that our Sage Pay Direct CE extension has been downloaded over 6K times and it’s the 3rd most downloaded free Payment Extension, that’s really amazing, big thanks to all the Magento UK stores that put us in that position, we’ll keep doing a great job supporting it.
