Last week we migrated Techsplosion’s online store and Mp3Players.co.uk online store from Zencart to Magento.

These Magento websites are pretty complex since they integrate several Order sources, like Amazon -for which we used our Amazon Orders Import extension- and manages a lot of business rules for allocating shipping and insurance methods among other heavy customizations.

Also, these website make extensive use -hundreds of authorizations per day- of our Proxt VPS Direct Payment Module for Magento

Even though switching to Magento was not a trivial task because of all the sensitive work needed to make the transition smooth not only for the customers but for the staff who run the websites, we are pleased by the fact that user experience has been greatly improved and that backend processes and data management are now easier and less time consuming thanks to Magento’s unique feature set.
