MailChimp_ApiCall.log not created (as per settings) but xxxxxxxx.Request.log files are created

Hi,

Here are my settings (this is Magento 1.9.x).

The var/log/MailChimp_ApiCall.log is not created at all although it is set to be created. But other additional files xxxxxxxx.Request.log are created in var/log and there is no option in the settings which clearly says "I don't want *.Request.log files".

I have reported this on github but I was told to write in the forum, so I do.

So how do I disable the request.log files?

In a live environment, the logs must be disabled.
We generate one log for request because for now we can't retrieve the request from mailchimp, so the only way to help to all of you is have the request logs. Wee are talking with mailchimp to have a way to retrieve the request for a batch.

OK, we already fix this for the next version. If you wish to fix in the while, edit the file app/code/community/Ebizmarts/MailChimp/Helper/Data.php and search for the function logRequest

in the line with

file_put_contents($fileName,$message);

replace it with

$oldPermission = umask(640); file_put_contents($fileName,$message); umask($oldPermission;)

Thanks Gonzales. I will try the code lines you suggest.

Any word about my last post? It looks like something is broken.

Why you think that error is from us? I don't see any reference to M4M or MageMonkey
