Hello,

No, this is for Magento 1 specifically, even though some steps might apply (like checking the cache and compilation)

The installation of the Magento 2 module should be performed via composer with the following command:

composer require mailchimp/mc-magento2

Then you have to upgrade with the magento command like with any other extension.
