Abandoned cart emails not sending

I have two clients on Magento 1 stores both using the latest version of your extension. We've followed the steps to configure abandoned cart emails. MailChimp says that the stores are connected correctly and Magento says that it's syncing information to MailChimp. We've set up the abandoned cart emails. After a few months the MailChimp reports state that no emails have been sent.

Can you help please?

Thanks for contacting us.

Can you tell me the current mailchimp version numbers?
Please send a complete screenshot of the current configuration settings for the extension.
Please check if the cronjob is running correctly to do this run the next query on the database and send me the result:
select * from cron_schedule where job_code like "mailchimp_%";

Hi Lucia

Thanks for the swift response.

MC extension version: 1.1.12.4 (both websites). Screen grab linked for one website's config. Both sites match this config. Note that abandoned cart is enabled, we've disabled it whist we troubleshoot this issue. DB query output linked.

Hi Steve,

Can you share the URL of one of those two sites? After that enable the abandoned cart section of the site that you have shared the URL.

Then use the Postman to check how many carts sent to mailchimp, to do that:
1. You need to select the type Basic Auth, leave the username empty and place your api key in the password field.

2. Place the following URL at the top selecting the GET option: https://us14.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/ecommerce/stores/ making sure the starting letters match the latest ones in your api key. In the example my api key finishes with -us14
Then you will get a list of all the stores at MailChimp. There select the storeID and use the next URL:
storeID/carts," target="_blank">https://us14.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/ecommerce/stores/storeID/carts, please let me know which is the result of that query to the API.

All the previous steps in the same site that you have enabled the abandoned cart section.

Hi Lucia

Thanks for the detailed instructions. Completing those steps returns a JSON response which contains 33 "total_items". The website tested is: https://www.desreshome.co.uk

Based on the above am I right to assume that the extension is sending data to MailChimp but it's MailChimp that isn't sending the campaigns?

Many thanks

Hi Steve,

Let's check the last two things to be sure that everything is working fine and is correctly set in our side.

1. Do you have the logs enabled for the extension? If you do please share any log file located under your var/log folder with MailChimp in it's name. Adding the Magento logs as well will probably add some information.
Magento 1: MailChimp_Errors.log, MailChimp_Failing_Requests.log | exception.log, system.log
2. Please send me a complete screenshot of the configuration settings for each scope even if you have the extension disabled in that scope.

Hi Lucia

I've just logged in to MailChimp and checked the report. It seems the emails are now sending. I have no idea what caused it to start working but it all looks ok to me now.

Let's see how it goes and if it stops working again I'll update this thread.

Thanks for all of your help, really appreciated.
