Installation dependencies.

As you would expect, I am using MailChimp to deliver newsletters and SweetTooth as a rewards module.

SweetTooth was originally installed via FTP (as ST did not have a Magento Connect Manager) option at the time. ST confirm that once done via FTP it is not possible to upgrade via Magento Connect Manager.

But MageMonkey and SweetMonkey are installed via MCM. No problem with MageMonkey, but when installing SweetMonkey MCM wants to install TBT_Rewards (SweetTooth) as a dependent module. As I have been previously doing it via FTP, it thinks TBT_Rewards is not on our system and wants to reinstall it. This would be a bad idea.

Any way to install and continue MCM upgrades of SweetMonkey and avoid this dependency issue and deal with an FTP installed/updated SweetTooth module?

Hi Five5,

Yes, it seems that MC does not realize that you have installed TBT module since you did it via ftp.

Kind Regards.

We have the same trouble. We manually installed TBT_Rewards and Ebizmarts_SweetMonkey thinks it's not installed.

You can install sweetmonkey manually, not recommended though.

Regards.
